London Borough Legionellosis Incident Protocol
On 16th November 2018 Alehm’s All Borough Health and Safety Group published the London Boroughs Legionellosis Incident Protocol
It will provide guidance to local authorities on how to deal with incidents of Legionella infection in their areas.
Alehm Publishes its Annual Report for 2017-18
The annual report has been published and can be found at the link below. It summarises the activity undertaken by the charity over last year and provides information on the financial accounts. Members will be asked to accept the report at the AGM on 11th December.
The Future of Environmental Health in Local Authorities
On 18th January, a meeting of national environmental health representatives was held in London to discuss how we can better support the future of environmental health in local authorities.
Peter Wright from Gateshead led the meeting and the group has identified some key priorities and tasked regional groups with some actions. There will be ongoing meetings and service leads are encouraged to participate.
