Police and Criminal Evidence Act: A virtual training workshop for Local Authority Regulators

PACE

This training will primarily cover issues relating to PACE in relation to interviewing in a local authority context. However, the training will also touch upon Code B entry / search and Code D identification. Particular topics will include admissibility, determining when to caution, identifying the differences between significant statements and interview after caution, on-site preliminary investigation v interview room, inferences, use of statutory powers v PACE and the IUC letter.

This is a 3 hour course, 2 hours tuition followed by up to an hour of questions
