London Environmental Health Practitioners Limited was established as a trading company in 2007, emerging from the London chief officers groups. It achieved charitable status in 2008, and operates under the name of ALEHM.

The Association’s Board of Directors are drawn from the Association’s members and determined at the Association’s Annual General Meeting. Charitable status
London Environmental Health Practitioners is a charitable body registered by the Charity Commission (charity number 1122440). The Commission has recognised that our activities are within their classifications of educational activity and environmental conservation, benefiting the general public.
Executive Board
ALEHM is managed by a team of voluntary Trustees, elected by the members, who are either current senior local authority managers or have held senior roles in London local authorities. The Board meet approximately every 3 months to review progress, agree future activities and discuss future priorities and funding allocation.
The day to day work is undertaken by the Manager, the Co-ordinator who are Environmental Health Practitioners and the Administration officer. Trustees are appointed to tasks as required, to lead on specific areas and help coordinate projects.

Steve Miller
